My name is Wendy and I live in Towoomba, Queensland, Australia with my husband, cat, dog and numerous chickens. We are empty nesters now and both enjoy our creative pursuits and living a simple, sustainable lifestyle.
I was taught to knit by my mum as a child and as an adult there have been very few days without the knitting needles in my hands. I knit every day it feeds my soul and makes me who I am. I love to create and have a passion for knitting and texture. I think I am a process knitter as often finished projects linger before being blocked or worn, as long as I am creating something I am happy.
I enjoy combining knitting, crochet, and sewing in my designs and I also love spinning, gardening and cooking.
